Synopsis

(Movie 1)
A group of girls go on a camping trip and take shelter from the rain in an abandoned temple. One of them, Bonnie, takes a rope she found in the temple back with her not knowing that in the rope lies the soul of a fallen scholar from the Ching Dynasty. The ghost, Bindeye Pik, tries to help them with some of their daily trials and tribulations but then unwittingly gets them into trouble.
(Movie 2)
The ghost of Scholar Stewart Pik reincarnates and is now a high school teacher named Hong Sam Kwai. Being the first male instructor of an unruly class that has exhausted more women teachers deemed possible, Kwai becomes a victim to endless pranks by his students until he is able to counteract with his gift of magical powers. But when his job is on the line, he must find a way to get through with his students and restore his reputation.
(Movie 3)
The spirit of late singer Tsui Pan Han waits in the afterlife for a chance to be reincarnated. She meets the Godfather, who has found an appropriate musical family for her to be reincarnated with. Unfortunately, her opportunity to be born into the new family is ruined when Sam Kwai takes his pregnant wife to the wrong hospital. Pan Han is given one month to find a new body to assume her reincarnation and decides in the meantime to harass Sam Kwai. Kwai eventually summons the Happy Ghost to help him out.
(Movie 4)
Hong Sam Kwai is enjoying a second life in the metropolis of Hong Kong. Unfortunately, his girlfriend Annie is oblivious to the fact that her former incarnation was the village girl who perished the Sheriff to eternal suffering. Hong teaches at the school where Annie’s mother serves as the principal. There are four sprightly yet mischievous male students in his charge. Now the four students are hot on the tails of four beauties of the school, but they are duped by the girls instead and left stranded in the wilderness. Meantime Hong’s pleasant relationship with Annie is disrupted by her cousin, who also takes a fancy to her and is trying to lure her away from him. In his moment of despair, Hong’s former incarnation – a scholar – appears out of the air and helps him secure his love.
(Movie 5)
A sweet tale about a young woman’s dog that makes a deal with the Happy Ghost to become human for 44 days. But after those days are over, he must go and be reincarnated.
