Synopsis

“Zhou Wan, a resilient and determined top student, desperately seeks a way to save her seriously ill grandmother. After failing to obtain help from her mother, who abandoned her years ago, she deliberately approaches Lu Xi Xiao, her mother’s stepson and a rebellious young man, hoping to secure money for the surgery through him.

During the summer after graduation, Zhou Wan and Lu Xi Xiao gradually develop feelings for one another as they navigate uncertainty and emotional barriers. Along the way, they repeatedly help each other overcome the hardships and setbacks of life. However, the harsh realities of the world shatter their youthful romance, and misunderstandings ultimately drive them apart.

Ten years later, they reunite in the workplace. Still unable to let go of the pain from the past, Lu Xi Xiao repeatedly makes things difficult for Zhou Wan, only to realize that his feelings for her have never changed. As they work together to uncover the truth behind a long-forgotten factory accident, the two find themselves drawn together once again.”
