Synopsis
Begins in Osaka in 1945 when World War II broke out, and tells the story of Sun Ja’s struggles to protect her family, even making dangerous choices. The stories of Solomon, who must start anew with nothing in 1989 Tokyo, and the elderly ‘Sun Ja’ who worries about her grandson also intersect.
